Tommy Jacobs

Tom Jacobs is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 25 years experience in corporate finance, strategic business planning and operations. As managing partner, Mr. Jacobs leads the firm’s consulting practice and provides accounting and consulting services to clients in a wide variety of industries including online marketing firms, retail, healthcare, software development, and technology companies. Prior to founding Jacobs Cohen, he worked with Deloitte Touche in Houston and BDO Seidman in Washington, DC. He holds a BS in Management from Tulane University in New Orleans.

Jeanalice Brickman

Jeanalice Brickman has been a Certified Public Accountant in public practice since 1984, achieved the AICPA’s Personal Financial Specialist designation in 1993 and has a Master of Accountancy from Bowling Green State University. Originally from Findlay, Ohio, she was the owner of a small firm for 16 years before joining Jacobs Cohen in 2009 and becoming a partner in 2011. Professionally, she has focused on individual and small business tax planning and compliance, qualified retirement plan administration, and financial planning services.

Robert Troxler

Bob Troxler began his career in public accounting in 1976 upon his graduation from Memphis St. University and has been with the Firm or its predecessor ever since. In his capacity as partner, he is involved in all aspects of the Firm’s tax practice, including Estate & Trusts, Partnership, Corporate and Individual taxation. Bob’s vast wealth of experience, spanning five decades, has been instrumental in the Firm’s compliance and consulting practice.

Matt Winn

John Slowey

After ten years of overseeing the financial operations for all Strategic Hospitality establishments (think Henrietta Red, Pinewood Social, Catbird Seat, Merchants), John Slowey rejoined our firm to lead the JCA Restaurant Service Group.

Slowey, a Nashville native and MTSU grad, has more than 25 years of combined experience in the finance and hospitality industries. In his most recent role as Director of Accounting for Strategic, John solely oversaw the openings and finances for several successful Nashville restaurants and revenue growth from $3.5 million to over $35 million.

In addition to traditional accounting, bookkeeping and tax services, Slowey can assist food and beverage establishments with anything from turnkey set up and installation of Point-of-Sale systems, customized accounting, payroll, tax and back-office support to financial recovery strategies, like PPP forgiveness and Employee Tax Retention Credits.

Slowey will also offer specialized consulting services to help clients manage food costs, gross margins and overall profitability.
